I've been around the world and I, I, I, never left my couch.

Yes, trite 90's pop reference. But to the point. I found this app (one of many that I will be discussing ad naseum in a succession of blogs) for my iPhone called Live Cams. It allows you to access live web cams from more than 200 locations around the world. Nagano, Japan; Zurich; North Carolina; Eiffel Tower; Verona; Rome; China; the Shamu tank in Sea World; Scranton, Pennsylvania; seriously almost anywhere.
A number of the cameras, you can control (scan, pan, zoom) straight from your phone.
And you can take screenshots, with the tap of your finger. I'm effing in love with this app.
Here's the photo album of this last week's trip around the world.
